Code of ethics
Item 1: ABCB is a non-profit association under the 1901 law whose actors essentially aim to:
Contribute concretely to the promotion of commercial relations between the businessmen of Benin and the United States of America;
Provide members with all relevant information to facilitate trade between Benin and the United States;
Organize meetings and exchanges between the economic operators of the two countries.
Item 2: ABCB carries out its activities in accordance with the aims and objectives defined in its statutes and its programme.
Item 3: The ABCB association is open to any natural or legal person who agrees to comply with the provisions of these regulations and those of the Association's statutes and who shares the philosophy behind its creation.
Item 4: Discussions are free during meetings of ABCB bodies; the guiding principle being the promotion of business relations between Benin and the United States of America. Decisions are taken preferably by consensus or by a simple majority of votes and are binding on all members.
Item 5: No one can make commitments in the name of the Association without having received a mandate from the management committee or the president of the association.
Item 6: The functions in the different bodies of the ABCB association are voluntary.
